“I wish I could live for a long time so that one day I may know how to explain it, and if I am not granted that wish, well, then somebody else will perhaps do it, carry on from where my life has been cut short.” While I don’t live in direct fear of my life being cut short, oh how I long for a way to explain some of the things in the world. But I know in faith that while I will never have all of the answers here on earth, God has them, and I believe He can still turn all things to good. All will never be made clear while we are still living in a sin-filled world, but paradise awaits.
Thank you for sharing Etty's words, her wisdom, her faith. May her memory be for a blessing. Your essay is so meaningful and perfectly timed. Thank you for your truth-telling about persecution.
