Phew! What words! How beautiful and rich! So rich! It was a breakfast feast to read as I sit in stifling heat on Sunday morning.

That last paragraph encapsulated the story of my brother & my sister in law. How my brother even ended up in Barbados, how Dawn was plonked into oh so white Australia, how my father started quoting racist words by Rudyard Kipling; how Dawn & I fought (oh how we love each other & know the truth of each other but she trusted me enough to get angry with me & not mask). All of those words came to mind.

In the beginning...your words!

You are both astonishing. I love me a font human, an illustrator with a heart! 🥰

Marcie, I'm about to go lead service back at my Wayside chapel home . Without going into details, there's been some trauma, some depression, some time away. Today is beatitudes day & thanks to you, the pastor & I will lead a Congregational blessing festival!

Yesterday to get ready, I went back & read some of your writings and the various beatitudes you gifted us. You were so right in terms of your realisation of giving us so much, too much to handle; you have a whole book in here! Thank you for teaching me about boundaries through your decision to ease back. the words today, these rich dipped in LOVE words, demonstrate the rightness in your decision. Bless you this week & bless all of us here to learn & share. 💜🙏💜

One of my favorite quotes from a book is (paraphrased) is “Truth goes straight to your heart and nestles there”. It’s been my touchstone ever since. Your story is now nestling in my heart. Thank you.
