I just want you to know that sometimes I push the “like” button, and don’t have much to say, but that doesn’t mean your words haven’t touched me deeply. They have, and they do, and I hope you know the depth of meaning of those little “like” button pushes. Thank you.

Oh, yes! Yes and amen. As one who has a cup of tea every morning and drinks it slowly like it's a spiritual practice, this has comforted me today. You captured so beautifully what I hope whenever I make a cup of tea for someone else and what my own soul needs. Breathing in this Holy Breath of Life.

I love the Ruach. She's my favorite part of the Trinity. :)

As an enneagram 3, I like having specific things to do, especially during hard or painful times. I love the story about your husband and the power of having a cup of tea as a spiritual practice. I am going to try it out.

Also, I'm so sorry about the death of your nephew. I can't imagine how hard that is.

When I read your beautiful post yesterday, the word "committed suicide" stopped me. I was taught by mental health advocates deeply affected by suicide that how we frame this type of death matters. They said people "commit crimes," people "die by suicide." Based on your personal experience and your care for words, I wonder what you thought about this distinction.

Thank you for reflecting Light.
