Honestly, Jodi - thank you for this but I'm so enjoying this too. I love being in this community and I love these thoughtful comments I receive, and man, I just am so grateful. Thank you.
Oh thank you for THIS! Remembering God loves me AND learning how these words impacted our mighty Mother Maya (if I may claim her, too) AND Brene’s wisdom regarding hope AND your marvelous and carefully crafted teaching. Today will be a very good day! 💕
Oh Cathy, I totally think Maya was mother to all women. Have you read her book Letters to My Daughter? Of course, she never had a daughter. But she wrote it for women. So I think we all can call her Mother Maya.
You are a ‘giver’ of epiphanies Marcie! With all your research/ teaching/ stories/ insights/sharing, the ‘scales’ have fallen from my eyes, heart and mind. You’ve unfolded a whole new comprehension of God for me. Your Bible teachings have given me greater possibilities of how to live in hope. I’ll admit that some of your epiphanies keep me awake at night. But mostly, they give me hope…like an orange vase filled with cotton blossoms 💛
Wow. The empowerment of the spirit, liberated from the tunnel vision of that one right and rewarding alignment moment of life. Thank you for this. Agency, contextualized in lifespan formation. Yet, remembering times of epiphany gives goose bumps because it radiates forth as though it trancends time, or as though life and hope were still flowing from those moments like embers of coal fanned again to orange. That is what rejoicing means to me, a repeating of joy and magic that brings hope to present. That this moment was shared by acquaintances who were nonetheless witnesses and fellow seers and rememberers. It's uncanny, sacred and we'll hopeful! Yes I got goose bumps too!
Beautiful, Marcie. I’m so enjoying this study on hope. Thank you💛
