Also, I burst into tears when you said you dedicated your book to your mother. I don’t know why. Maybe it’s because of my own relationship with my mother or because you have worked so hard to tell us about your relationship with yours… (and I haven’t even had the honor of reading the book yet). I am inspired by you as a person, as a mother, and as a writer. I am grateful for your life. I am grateful for your honesty and your willingness to share. You have brought so much support and liberation to my soul. One day I hope to be in the same room with you to thank you in person, but if that never happens, the inter-webs will have to suffice. God knew I needed your presence in my life when I stumbled onto your Instagram page well over a year ago. May you be blessed many times over for all you've brought into this world.
I haven't had a chance to sit and really listen yet. I'm heading bush for 3 retreat days on Monday so plan to listen then, rugged up by a river. I'm so excited about your book. I'm pretty sure I preordered last year - I guess I'll find out 😀. If not, then I'll be buying soon.
Just by the by, I was sitting through your work last year and once again I am reminded of all that you poured out for us, while writing this book. Hooley Dooley. I imagine your mum sitting on a velvet couch outside, smiling & singing along to your words. 🫂🙏💜
