Zias – Sun and Moon In Love
GENESIS
First, God Said, “I think We need a blueprint. Let’s use This Light.”
And This Light sang to The Darkness, and The Darkness was deeply moved.
Then, God asked, “Who will care for The Light? Ahhh…we know—let’s make The Sun and The Moon.
Oh, how The Sun so dearly loved The Moon and The Moon just could not do without The Sun.
And because The Sun and The Moon so loved each other, they spent their days and nights loving and caring for The Light with A Chorus Line of Stars.
Above The Deep, Dark Waters, The Sky dreamt of The Dawn. So she unfurled herself from The Deep Dark Waters, and levitated so she could better reach her.
God gathered The Waves, and lo and behold! —there lay Peter the Foundation hewn from The Rocks.
The Rocks were holding their breath, waiting to sing. And there were The Trees, and The Seeds, and The Grasses, and The Grains, who all moved into The Neighborhood—and, it was all good.
Then, God created The Monsters who lived in The Bottom of the Deep, and no one was afraid because on that same day, They also created Birds Who Take Flight.
Everyone played their part. The Sky cradled the Birds Who Take Flight. The Monsters lay sleeping at The Bottom of the Deep. The Trees, The Seeds, The Grasses and The Grains foraged the Land.
And, The Cosmic First Family—The Sun, The Moon, The Chorus Line of Stars—carried The Light for them all.
To shake things up, the very next day, God created The Beasts Both Wild and Beautiful.
After The Beasts Both Wild and Beautiful, God wondered and said, “Let’s make something divine, something to be like Us, and do like Us, and love Like Us,” So They breathed The Light into The Divine of The Divine.
And , God said to The Divine of The Divine, “Take care of The Waves, The Sky, The
Land, the Trees, the Seeds, The Grasses, The Grains, The Sun, The Moon, The Chorus Line of Stars, The Birds Who Take Flight, The Monsters in The Bottom of the Deep, The Beasts Both Wild and Beautiful, and Our Image Shimmering In The Divine of the Divine.”
And, with a sigh, God finished working and said, “It’s all so good, so very, very good.”
Selah. Pause and consider all of that.
The Light, The Sky, The Chaos, and The Deep Dark Waters were God’s first unified, multicultural community.
This is The Beginning of The Reflection of The Light. The First Imprint of God’s Image. First, there was The Deep Dark Waters until The Spirit caressed it, and whispered a prayer, “Let there be Light.”
And God said, “Amen.”
